METROPOLITANA FELIMETRÒ

The Felimetrò is a piece of the future: the image we like of Scampia, the history ahead written with and through art, the power of dreams, old and new identities, the roots of a community travelling towards the new.
La stazione Piscinola Scampia della metropolitana Linea 1 di Napoli viene aperta nel 1995. Nel 2012 viene inaugurata FELImetrò, la stazione Piscinola viene intestata a Felice Pignataro, artista, muralista e fondatore del GRIDAS, e racchiude dodici installazioni visibili a tutti. Nel 2018, nell’ingresso inferiore della stazione, lato Scampia, viene inaugurata la stazione d’arte, sede del capolinea della Linea 1 e dell’interscambio della tratta Aversa-Piscinola di Eav, con un massiccio intervento architettonico e artistico.
The Piscinola Scampia station of the Naples Metro Line 1 was opened in 1995. In 2012, FELImetrò was inaugurated, the Piscinola station was named after Felice Pignataro, artist, muralist and founder of GRIDAS, and contains twelve installations visible to all. In 2018, the art station was inaugurated in the lower entrance of the station, on the Scampia side. It is the terminus of Line 1 and the interchange for the Aversa-Piscinola section of the Eav railway, and has undergone extensive architectural and artistic renovation.
